My name is Julian Kramer, I am 23 years old and from Hamburg, in Germany! Currently I am finishing my Masters degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, which ends in November 2020. Afterwards I will start working in a clinical setting with patients facing different neuropsychological disorders, and if I like it as anticipated, I will make that my lifetime occupation. I found my way into the Groninger Combinatie Team while doing my Bachelors in Psychology in Groningen. Even though my time in Groningen is over, I am really happy to keep on playing for GC1, together with many other nice teammates and facing strong opponents, which makes my participation a nice combination between a challenge and having a good time.

My aim for the near future in chess is to become an International Master. Besides Chess, I am really ambitious in running, training to run a Marathon in under three hours. I really enjoy sports and exploring the world, which is one of the reasons why I walked the 900Km from Hamburg to Oslo with my best friend. I would easily say, that is the best thing I ever did so far.

I am looking forward to play the Meesterklasse again!
